i usually just surf around the forums for great advice and to learn from all, but now I decided to introduce myself. I have a redsea Reefer 350 here I will be attaching some photos of the tank, I’ve been trying to lower the nitrates for about a month now I do a weekly 10 gallon flush I bought the DE NITRATE put it in my Media Reactor and it’s been about 3 weeks nothing yet also I’m only feeding once’s every other day, I haven’t vacuumed the sand yet so I might just clean the sand and refresh the sump, to see if things improves any tips will be highly appreciated,

Welcome to r2r!We love pics so you filled that category well.
You may want to give nitrates a little more time to come down before ya start messing with sump and sand.
How long has the system been set up for?Can ya tell us a little about the equipment being used.
Can ya list your parameters for us?It may make it a little easier to diagnose the problem.

Welcome aboard! loving everything about your tank, big zoa colonies, tthe aquascape, valentini puffer. Looks like it has a good future ahead of it

Looks great! Remember, you don't always need to chase #'s just to chase #'s. Besides your nitrates being "high" what issue is it causing? Every system is different. If you are happy with how the tank looks then the #'s are where they need to be (unless it's causing issues with something). Again, great looking tank!

An official welcome to you! The coral's in your tank would seem to indicate they are in an acceptable environment. As said above don't get too wrapped up in numbers, and don't rush into large changes. Nothing good happens fast in this hobby!

Thank you all I appreciate your welcoming!! The tank has been up and running for about 8 months! I have plans to make to ATO a refugium onto thing is I’ll need to get a new ATO, Only issue I had with the tank is those little white star fish, it started with a few here and there THEN IT GOT OVER POPULATED FAST I spoke to one of my buddy’s he recommended me a harlequin shrimp! Man did he put in work! Plus me dedicating 15-20 min a day helping him out now there’s hardly any of them I noticed some on the sump the other day!, but they are 95% all gone huge difference, also some Red slime here and there I service the tank by weekly so I keep up with it.
