Anybody have a PAR meter and willing to help out a fellow refer? I'm willing to pay rental/gas fee as necessary.

I never found anyone locally so I'm going to "rent" a PAR meter. Basically I found a website that will sell you one, then refund you back when you return it, less $20 per week you keep it.

I should get it in the next couple weeks so if anyone needs readings and is available in the 3-4 days that I have it (or wants to pay for a second weeks rental) then I'm glad to share. I'll post up when it comes in.

PAR Meter should be here Friday! So if anybody needs some readings over the weekend or afternoons next week let me know. I'll probably keep it for a week and send it back next Friday.

I wouldn't mind getting some reading on my frag tank diy led build.

Got the PAR meter in, works like a champ! FYI, my LEDS put out almost 1700 PAR at the water level at 100%. :)

I can do some readings Sunday morning (Saints play at noon) or anytime next week after 4pm if anybody needs them!

Oh yeah...look at all that sexy, sexy, data.

thanks for stopping by Justin. Now I just need to find my optics...lol. Call me up when you need some starter frags.

Man, I wish I knew enough about T5's to give you a decent answer. I would probably start a new thread in one of the main forums and see what people think. I know most T5 bulbs will have PAR information on their website, so you might want to give those a look.

I started one but haven't gotten many responses. It's a Coralife dusk t5ho setup, but they don't have any par ratings on their site. I was looking at hoppy's chart, and if it's correct, it would add 90 par at sand bed... that doesn't seem right for just two bulbs, but Idk.

I could see 90 being a possibility, but it's really dependent on the reflectors. If that's true it would be almost exactly what you need. You'd probably be a little dark at the corners though.

With an extra 90, that would put me around 115-125 on the sandbed including the LED's. Just have to figure out if it's possible to attach the unit to the canopy.
