Ok, not really, but I have a few few bucks that I came in to and I would like to pick up some nicer glass. I currently have a Tamron 90mm SP Di which I could not be happier with but my other glass could use some improvement. In addition to the macro I have a Sigma 18-50mm 1:3.5-5.6 DC D and a Sigma 55-200mmD 1:4-5.6 DC. So I think I have my focal ranges covered ok but I would like to get some faster sharper glass without breaking the bank. Any ideas? Perhaps the same lens in the EX series? I would also be selling these current Sigmas as they are replaced for a little extra cash.

Also, I am not totally unsatisfied with these lenses so maybe there could be something recommended in addition to the above rather than to replace.

Sorry about being so vague and newbish but I am still so lost when it comes to lenses.

hey im in the same boat...well looking for a recommendation but not the having cash part
my next lens is going to be the 18-200vr lens as an overall walkaround lens so i dont have to carry a lot of lenses
but i really have no clue what im talking about either, im still newbish myself in these areas

I'm debating the 18-200vr as well (I have 18-70 and 70-300 right now and would likely sell those for the 18-200). If you want something fast and reasonably priced, pick up a 50/1.8, I'm glad I did. Really since your focal lengths are covered, it isn't worth changing anything (IMO) unless you go real expensive like the 70-200/2.8VR or something.

I am kinda thinking maybe the Sigma 10-20mm wide zoom. I was checking out some shots from it and it looks like a fun lens.
