Great news I live in Fayetteville and will be glad to drive to Huntsville for saltwater supplies and fish..Appreciate it. Kim

INTERESTING>>>>> we will have to check them out next trip down. Payton, do you know the owners??

By the way, you both seem fairly new.. Welcome to REEF2REEF!

Is the person that bought Mike out I wonder? Either way It will be nice to have another LFS in Huntsville..........I sure do miss CRA. It was closer to me. Anyone know how John and Henry are? Sorry off topic.......

Mike is no longer selling out of his house?
I wonder if the new LFS is run by Brandon/Bones Reef who breeds clownfish? He came to our meeting last year and told us that he was opening a store down in south Huntsville.

From the map, that is South Huntsville, just north of the Home Depot. as for Mike, we were just there on saturday.. he still had his goodies...

Nope I am still here doing the same as I was, still have dry goods, fish and corals in the shop waiting on new homes. Dave nobody bought me out don't know how you got that info.

Paradise is not owned by Brandon, his name is Mike and seems like a good guy. He has been working on his store for a couple of months I can't wait till Saturday to go help support a new store.

Charles (can't remember his last name but he posts here sometimes as tangs4best) had a reef store on Charlotte when we were just setting up the two tanks in Huntsville. I think that was about '99. He later moved to a place on South Parkway across from Lowe's and then closed it down and moved to Guntersville I think.

Sorry man. I got bad info I guess. I was told that you sold everything because you were traveling a lot again.

this is my first post i usually just troll..... but i stopped by there today and checked it out. the guys seem knowledgable and nice enough. they didnt have any dry goods yet but they had their tanks setup. not a huge selection but they have the basics covered(some coral mostly fish). They seemed good about being able to order you whatever you wanted assuming they could get there hands on it. anyway its nice to have another fish store since CRA is gone..this place has that LFS feel that it had

I hope they do well. Tough street to make a living.
For those who dont know where it is south parkway just north of krystals across from the sell your own lot. Give em some support they will need it. It is good to have some local stores, can't exactly get some thing you need right now mail order!

I've been in there a couple of times recently. It's shaping up to be a nice store.

I didn't know about it until a few weeks ago when another reefer mentioned it. I told him he needs to get the store listed on google maps :nerd:

I was in the other day ,,, Not bad at all, Nice guys working there with not a bad selection, If he keeps prices down I believe he will do well.
Prices are a bit high compared to others in the area but not real bad. Except for live rock way to high for so-so rock.
Recommendation: Don't try to hit a home run on all the sales, try to keep every one coming back cause of good prices and good quality.
Quality takes time to prove to your community so price is all you have to work with for a while.
Best of Luck to you and glad to have you in south Huntsville.
