Hello all,

A month in on my first saltwater tank. Setting up the light today as it just came in. The light is a Maxspect Jump (65w). For some reason no matter what I’ve done the light will not connect to my router through the app (Syna-G Cloud).

Also added a screenshot of the message coming up eat time.

Any suggestions?

If you have a newer router it may not connect. Most newer routers are not 2.4GHz

I had a nightmare with connecting this light aswell so frustrating after spending so much money!
I’ve had to settle for the non wifi option, I think it was Bluetooth or Automatic or something, as I really couldn’t get it to connect properly !

I have also been unable to get these to connect to my router. I'm using them connected to my phone only which limits their usefulness greatly. Other 2.4 GHZ items have no problems. I can't recommend these lights to anyone.

I've been problems getting this very light connected as well. In the end I gave up and just connect directly to it. Also, don't understand why Maxspect insists on separate apps for the Jump LED and ICV6 controlled devices.
