So i added a full spectrum led to my t5, my frogspawn doesn't seem to be opening as much as normal. I guess my question is do corals adjust to new lighting or should I be worried?

Corals need to be acclimated to changes in lighting. Best bet is to turn the lights down low and raise up the intensity (assuming their adjustable) over the course of several weeks.

Yes anytime you add new lighting there is an adjustment period for your corals. Do your leds have a dimmer or a way to lower the power? This way you can turn it up in small increments over a period of a few weeks.

It is dimmable but I need to buy a dimmable plug.

What LEDs did you end up getting?
This is the one, it's on a 90 gallon. The t5 are 4 bulbs ati, 3 blue and one coral plus.

You shouldn't have an issue. Alternatively, if you can't dim them right now, you can run them for a short period of time and increase it by an hour or so every other day until you reach whatever your max photoperiod is. Your corals will slowly adjust to the new light and they will thank you for taking the extra time to do it.

So another question, my t5 have 2 plugs. One set to 2 blues and one to a blue and coral plus, that being said with the new leds I have 3 timers. Any suggestions on how to ramp up and down?

What, if any, is your current schedule?

T5 blue & blue 11—11
Led 1-6
T5 blue and coral 3-8

I have no idea if that is good. Open to ANY suggestions.
Do you get any sort of natural lighting in the tank at all? Anything before 11am? If so, and this is just my opinion mind you, I would start ramping up with your 2 blues when the natural light starts, say 8am(when I start mine). I would follow with your blue and coral 2 hours later with a 6 to 8 hour photoperiod. The led will have your bright whites so an hour after your blue and coral, this can run between 5 and 6 hrs. On the reverse, by 5 pm I would start by taking out the LEDs. By 6 pm your blue and coral, and finally your 2 blues around 8. Now mind you, this is just what I would do. This is by no means anything concrete. Feel free to tinker any way you see fit. If you like night viewing, you could opt for some low power moon lights. Something you can run from 8 pm to bed time so your tank isn't completely boring while you are staring at it lol. There's nothing wrong with how you are doing it by the way, this is just my 2cents. One more thing, please make sure going forward that any lighting schedule you so choose, make sure you do it AFTER you acclimate your corals to the new LEDs. Good Luck and lets see some pictures!
