I've got a regular 29 gallon, dimensions are about 30x12x18, and I'm looking to upgrade lights. I'm not looking to spend too much but I also want to get something that is going to support a mixed coral tank.

I was looking at kessils a160 and ai prime hd lights but from what I've gathered I'm likely going to need 2 of those to fully cover 30 inches in length. Would 2 kessil A80s be worth it in this scenario and penetrate the depth of this tank?

Looking for any and all advice. Thanks.

You would need 3 to 4 a80's to cover the 30" wide.
Shimmer is nice though.

I'm starting to think a 26HD from AI might be a good way to go based on their PAR at 12 inches.
