Hello everyone, I’ve got a 120 gallon tank (4x2x2) with a 50 gallon sump. I have all types of different corals from mushrooms all the way to acros. I currently run t5s on my tank but am kinda wanting to switch to something different. Any recommendations, and if you have anything for sale let me know! Thanks

If it’s working then why switch?

I’m not seeing the growth that is supposed to come with t5s. Not sure if my bulbs need to be replaced or what. I got them off of a buddy in my city when I first started my tank up so I’m not exactly sure how old they are.

When it doubt switch the bulbs out. I would at least try that first before changing lights. What T5 is it?

Red Sea Reef LED 90s, they are absolutely great! Have one on my daughter's E-170 and her corals are growing great.

Kessil AP700's or an Orphek Atlantik V4 are great man. Very nice growth and its hard to mess up with the Kessils.

The older aquatic life model

I ran 6 t5's now 8 on my 120. Get some new bulbs. I plan on changing them once a year. Ran the 6 bulbs the first 6 months and had very good growth. Dont plan on switching any time soon. 6 bulb was 3b+ 3c+. Now running 3b+ 2c+ 1abs 1 purple 1 actinic. Liking the color and growth. I run 3b+ 3c+ in my frag system.

Where did you order your bulbs at?
