So right now I have a 45 gallon cobalt aquatics tank and I'm running one current usa marine led light with the loop system. I want to boost up the lighting bc it doesnt cover my entire tank fully. I have the opportunity to buy 2 more of the same lights with the stand and wave pump thrown in, used and in great shape for about $200. My question is, does anyone have experience with this light? Is it good for coral growth? My zoas are doing great. Or should I put that money toward something else.? I have to add that I love the all in one features of weather pattern light control and wave pumps all in one system. Only system I have seen so far that does these things at an affordable price. Any thoughts?

They are ok for low light corals. I would add some T5’s as they will reduce the shadowing and allow you to have a broad spectrum of lighting for different corals. I believe this is a similar set up @saltyfilmfolks had.

I have run a lot of different lights on corals. Kessil, Radion, Black box, Halide, VHO, DIY, as well as the pink light on my Fuge that grows some Pocilipora's Digi's and Monti's. They seem to all grow coral. I don't have a bunch of science or claims about how fast or healthiest spectrum, but IMO if you like the color and blend that your light puts out, then it is a good light for you.

I am sure you can get your money back out of it if you don't like it and want to sell it later.

This is only running at 45%blues-20% whites. I think they are great lights for softies and Lps. Especially for the programmability they have for the price point.
29 gallon tank running for 3 years.

I need to frag some stuff and give it away. Lol.
