I got a phlizon 165w dimmable full spectrum aquarium led in today been on the tank a few hours. My tank had went 6 days with only a reg led light. The question is would me having the whites at 50% and the blues 75% be to much. The light is about 13” from waters surface. It’s a 36v bow

Well, that would ultimately depend on the actual output of that light at those levels and the organisms that you have. I personally recommend starting at considerably lower intensities, say 10% whites and 30% blue. Work your way up from there SLOWLY as your critters indicate. The reviews on that particular light are not that good for longevity. If you have problems I would recommend spending a little more for a black box and go with SBreef Lights. They work for me.

A lot of the reviews I’ve seen people love the light I got even watched loads of videos online of people getting them and showing updates and there corals had grown like mad crazy
