So im fixing to buy a hybrid retrofit, i have my eye on the aqua life 36” for easy installation and mainly price but i dont know the first thing when it comes to t5s, can anyone chime in to help with the bulb selection? I would love my corals to pop but not have a crazy blue tank. Any info is greatly appreciated! Also i have two hydra26 to plug into the hybrid if that helps with selection

Slow and steady wins the race!
For the most part you can’t go wrong with any T5 bulbs intended for reef tank use, ATI blue+ is probably the most popular but you can pick whatever colors you like.. I run 3 blue+ and one Actinic in my aquatic life hybrid fixture.
I use 2 coral plus and 2 blue plus. Im happy with this as it looks white/blue to me and I know both bulbs are good at growing corals. As retro mentioned above, blue plus is the most popular.
Thanks guys i think ill figure out a mixture and the good part is, i can always up the cool whites on my leds to not have it so blue, but like you said dwest its all person preference. That pic helps alot thank you retro
