new lights, alk tanked?

I dose 19ml of all for reef in an entire day. For the past year I've had 1 Hydra 32 on my JBJ65 and alk was pretty steady about 9.5. Since I've added the 2nd Hydra 32, alk has dropped to 7ish in a week.

Is this normal?

If your ph went up and corals are growing more then yes..
