Anyone know what these pink spots are, they done look like the coralline I have on other rocks. New to the hobby and took all this rock out of a friends neighbor 300 gal tank. The tank was beautiful so I didn’t feel like I needed to cure this, I just placed it directly into my new 125g setup

The bottom picture is tough to tell if it’s polyps coming back or more likely - small vermetid snails.

Look like Coraline to me.
Coraline comes in several different colors

Even the ones with little white polyp lookings in the middle, and the ones that look like miniature worms? This stuff was under a bunch of nicer rocks that had his corals on them so probably first time in a while they got this much light and flow.

Are this good or bad? Sorry... I’m trying to learn.

I see verm snails and one unknown polyp in the first pic.

vermids - common LR pest... My montis Just grow over and cap their mouths and my acros tend to leave their mouths open... I just focus my attention on coral eating pest. Id just remove them if they become larger or are too close to your corals

I see vermatid snails and coralline. Not seeing the polyp people are talking about, but perhaps I'm blind as a bat.
