New live sand

Hey guys my sand bed in my tank is not as deep as I would like it. My tank is fully established and running for over a year now with lots and lots of live rock with stable perimeters. My question is would I suffer any negative effects if I were to add more “live sand” the (Caribsea brand) on top of my preexisting sand bed? Any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
