new longnose hawk goneb

Good morning. I got a longnose hawk yesterday and i put him in the tank and he was fine and everything, then before i went to bed i made sure he was still alive and he was so i thought alright good. This morning i went to go check and make sure everyone was still alive and well and i cannot find him anywhere. i’ve picked up some rocks, i checked the overflows i checked the carpet too and no sign of him anywhere. should i be concerned considering he was just out and about the day before?

yes i do have a tight fitting lid and i searched all around the tank for him. i’m just wondering if i should move all my rocks around to find him

Sometimes it's more hassle/stress than it's worth (to the other fish, anyway). But yeah, it's an option (I don't go looking for fish beyond a 10' radius of the outside of the tank myself).
