New mangrove came in the mail

Hey guys how does this mangrove look just got it in the mail. Looks like during shipping 3 leaves fell off but other than that looks good. Can you guys tell me how you think it looks.

I've always heard that leaves will fall off from sprouted mangroves when bought/moved. I have had success with getting unsprouted shoots and letting those put out roots/leaves in my care.

So I have tried to get mangroves to grow for years. Not very good luck and then yesterday I figured it out ;Facepalm ... their plants duuuuhhhhhh. I felt really stupid when I figured it out.

Here is the deal. Your lights in your tank have a ton of blue, mostly for the coral and some to keep the algae down. If you look at people's sumps they use very red spectrum lights to encourage algae .... PLANT growth. I just recently bought a bunch of plants for my house and with them I got grow lights. That means heavy red spectrum (you can see the little red LEDs). Plants really like it. I bet ... and this is just a guess that your mangrove would really like a nice heavy red spectrum as if you are lighting a scrubber. Just sayin'
