New mantis shrimp!!!

N. wennerae (what you're ordering) will bore a cavity into the rock, and close the entrance at night time/during molts with small chips of debris.

They may dig a burrow under rock, but if there's a suitable large piece with a lot of craters it'll likely mine out one of the craters into a cavity.
Also how much sand would you put in the tank? I have it bare bottom now which Im changing for the shrimp. I usually keep a 2-3 inch sand bed in my other two tanks. I just didnt know if they needed more

Are these guys good with corals? As far as knocking them over and such
Overall good with coral but will not hesitate to knock down loose pieces

Im so excited! My little friend came. He is soooo small and cute!

So jealous! Mine is currently in hiding right now… hopefully he will get braver with me. I hate not knowing if they’re just molting or gone
