I am about to purchase a used 93 gallon Marineland cube tank that was used for saltwater before. It is in very good condition but being new to the hobby I thought I would post the pics and all that it comes with to see if I am getting a good deal before I buy. I am also asking for any advice on setup or other equipment I would need to get started. Here is what it comes with:
30 gl refugium (Eshopps)
250 30" lighting fixture-metal halide+t5+led(Odyssea)
Large skimmer (ASM g-3)
Two heaters
Three 5gl buckets of sand
Various hoses, fittings, gloat valves

$500 for everything. Price good???

I added pics for everyone to look at.

Not yet but I am going to check it out tomorrow and have them fill it.

First off, welcome to R2R! The skimmer seems great for the tank. The sump isn't bad ether. Personally I usually like a larger refugium compartment, but that is just me. For the price you are paying its a great deal.

DO NOT USE the sand unless you rinse it thoroughly! I would personally advise getting new sand, but if it is a cost issue I totally understand. You do not want any trap detritus or other bad things to get into a tank you are just setting up.

Pitch the sand and get that new. And also check the seams very well. Marineland has been having issues with their tanks leaking. I would also ask to see if filled up and check for leaks before purchasing. If all is well I would go for it. I love the dimensions of this tank:)

Thanks for the feedback. I am new to the saltwater world and want to cover all my basis and take slow building and establishing my tank. I'm sure I will have more questions later on.
