Good morning to all,
Just wanted to drop a note to say hello. I've been reading this forum for several months, but have not posted until now. The amount of knowledge on this website/forum is beyond impressive.

I've never had a saltwater aquarium, but have a history with freshwater. Looking to move into the saltwater world in the next few months.

I tend to be the OCD type, so I've been reading as much as possible on tanks/systems/setup/etc.

One quick question; what books/authors are recommended for beginners. I'm sure this has been addressed previously, but figured I'd say "hello" and ask a quick question.

I think that between R2R and Bulk reef supply 52 week videos you will learn just enough to get you through the ugly stages of reef keeping.

Welcome to R2R! If I had to choose one book it would be The Reef Aquarium Volume Three by Delbeek and Sprung. You really can't go wrong with anything from Julian Sprung, Eric Borneman or Martin Moe.
