The fan works well for cooking but it is very noisy. It is a 12v car audio fan that is sold to cool large amplifiers. I wouldn't use it again and will replace is when I find a suitable solution.
thanks, for letting me know about the fan. I was looking for it online, but my tank is in the living space, so i do need a quiet solution.
The fan works great but it sounds like someone is mowing the lawn when it's on. It is turned on with a controller so I don't hear it all the time. It's a 12volt car audio product that is made to cool amplifiers.

That’s a very nice system you have there, and welcome to R2R!Hello everyone. I wanted to join this group as it appears that there are a lot of passionate reefers here. Please check out my new tank. I am joining this group as my new tank is cycling. It is a RedSea Reefer 450 that I only used the tank and sump. The stand was discarded for a custom made cherry wood cabinet that matched the home decor. I'm looking forward to all the knowledge and inspiration that I can gain here.
