Hi All , just signed up to this forum since some of the others I am on are a little stagnant in useful information ! I currently have a 92g corner RR tank with 2 AI Vega lights, Apex controller, Basement sump and some other fun stuff. going to be adding a separate refuge tank in the basement that will tie into the sump and house some LS/LR and probably some macro algea. System has been running since May, i had a 155 Bow front before this that i got rid of due to space issues (just had a baby girl!) So that about sums it up for me.

Welcome. Tank looks great. They're are a lot of nj guys on here. Be sure to check out njreefers too if you haven't already.

Here is a quick glimpse of my plan for the new refugium in the basement...

Pretty much main tank will drain to basement, it will get T'd off and one pipe will go to a valve which goes to the refugium and the other will drain freely into the sump. i will drill the refugium on the far side to drain back down to the sump near the return pump to avoid hitting the skimmer. then it all will go back up to the display tank using the same return pump i have now. sump will house my skimmer (SWC 160) and also a small pump i use for my bio pellet reactor. The refugium i will use for a sand bed, live rock and some macro algae, hopefully i will be able to keep a lot of pods and other stuff spawning in here. I will also have my various probes from the APEX in both the sump and the refugium. attached is a crude drawing i made in paint

Welcome aboard Doc and another jersyian in the houz  this jersey family just keeps growing

I started keeping fish tanks because I became a Mom and wanted that peace and tranquility offered from the water sounds and beautiful colors! My girls love them! Congrats on your daughter! Mine loved the fish so much around 4mo when she got upset I would put her in her high chair and wheel her over to the glass she would get so excited and happy!
