Hi all, Heard lots of good feedback re this forum so decided to give it a go.

Here in the UK, I have a marine setup with a 90 gallon display tank and 35 gallon sump. (See attached PDF)

I have recently renewed the display tank (after a leak !!) and have re-done the rock structure to provide more swimming room for my fish.
( 8 x Green Chromis, 2 x Clowns, 1 x Yellow Tang, 1 x Regal Tang, 1 x Midas Blenny, 1 x Royal Gramma, 1 x Red Scooter Blenny, 1 x Orange Spot Goby)

Some initial corals in place and starting to add more corals.

One coral has grown very quickly and I have fragged it, so now have 4 good strong frags which I am going to swap/sell.

Problem is I cannot remember what this coral was called. I think it's a 'Sinularia flexibilis'.

Anybody able to ID this coral, please?

Thanks

Welcome to R2R!!! We’re glad you’re here!

Welcome!
The Marine Biologist at my LFS tells me mine (which look like yours, but purple and green) are just generally “leathers” or “Sinularia,” and that there are so many variations, it’s not possible to specifically name.

Welcome to R2R! Looks like a kenya tree coral :)

I have just looked up the Kenya Tree Coral, similar but it seems to have a central 'trunk'. My coral has more of a 'plate' from which the fingers spread out from. As it gets bigger the 'plate' is more obvious.
Thanks for the input. Much appreciated.

Hi Dragon52,
Tree Coral Paralemnalia sp. - Possibly, but I cannot find a picture that has a 'plate' area like mine.

This is the parent of the frag above, showing more of the 'plate'.
