Good evening! I am excited to be here as I already love reading thru threads and the large amount of experience and information on this site.

I live in SE Alabama and have 3 successful FW tank set-ups - a 55g community, 20g tiger barb & molly tank, & a 10g divided betta tank. Last week I purchased a Fluval 13.5 Evo and am finally taking the jump into SW. I am BEYOND excited!! I have loved the fish community and world all my life but my career in the military didn't allow me to have anything set up. I recently retired and as you read above, I got busy putting things together. In our home we love animals and being able to finally set up aquariums makes me super happy.

Having a reef has always been a dream of mine and here I am taking a baby jump into it. :)

Just wanted to say I’m excited to see you have joined our lovely forum. There are tons of super amazing people on here, and they all have an amazing wealth of knowledge.
I can’t wait to see pictures of your new saltwater tank (hint hint lol) and progress of it. You will find there is nothing that compares to the life of a reef in your own home.

I also wanted to say congrats on retirement, and I’m sure it’s very well deserved. Thank you so much for all you have done for everyone and our nation. It’s people like you who really make us a great nation. So thank you for that.

From one Vet to another...Thank you for your service! Congrats one your saltwater jump, I think your going to love it! There are some fantastic people on here that are willing to help you along the way so don't be afraid to ask questions.
