Hey guys. I'm new, so here is a little bit of aquarium background. I really got into the hobby last year. I babysat my niece as exchange labor for an electric blue crawdad last summer. (Exciting for a broke college student. lol.) From there, I ended up with 13 freshwater (some planted) tanks. In December, I bought my first saltwater tank. It was an "established" tank, but it only had about 8 lbs of live rock rubble, a couple polyps, a condy, and a purple striped dotty back. As this tank began to transform, I realized that 10 gallons just really wasn't big enough! I sold all of my freshwater tanks (a little bitter sweet) so I could afford to set up the 55 gallon reef I have now. I am fully addicted to saltwater! I'm excited to meet everyone and hopefully learn a lot! Happy reefing. :)

Trust me I've been in the hobby for ten years plus, and I still learn something every single day!

That's what I love so much about it! There is always something to learn and you can always be surprised at what you actually have living in your tank. Lol.

Welcome to Reef2Reef and to the hobby. Love to see some pics of your tank setup. Also, you should start a tank thread in the members tanks forum.

Thank you everyone. :) is there any way to post videos? I take videos more often than pictures. And I will definitely start a thread there. :)

Here is a snippet of my tank. I'll get a full tank shot when my lights are on and upload them to a new members tank thread. :)

My first 10 gallon nano. (After the mean ol' dotty back had to go.)

And here's the small shot of my 55.
