Hey guys. I'm new, so here is a little bit of aquarium background. I really got into the hobby last year. I babysat my niece as exchange labor for an electric blue crawdad last summer. (Exciting for a broke college student. lol.) From there, I ended up with 13 freshwater (some planted) tanks. In December, I bought my first saltwater tank. It was an "established" tank, but it only had about 8 lbs of live rock rubble, a couple polyps, a condy, and a purple striped dotty back. As this tank began to transform, I realized that 10 gallons just really wasn't big enough! I sold all of my freshwater tanks (a little bitter sweet) so I could afford to set up the 55 gallon reef I have now. I am fully addicted to saltwater! I'm excited to meet everyone and hopefully learn a lot! Happy reefing.
