Hey everyone!

Im new to the Knoxville area and thought I should say hi and what not. I moved down here from Wisconsin a couple of weeks ago with my girlfriend who has accepted a position at the UT, GO VOLS! haha. So far we are loving the warm weather, water ways, and dog friendly atmosphere. Lots to see and do around here for sure!
Im fairly new to reefing (1 year) and am completely hooked! When it was time ti move I decided that I invested to much time and money into my tank to simply break down and sell everything off. So I get the bright idea  to move my tank from Wisconsin to Tennessee.... o_O (nightmare) Long story short, I lost my Ruby red Dragonette and my cleaner shrimp during the move :( but the tank is rebounding and corals are coloring up again, fish hate me but are healthy.

Right now I'm running a 29g Biocube with In Tanked media basket, JbJ ATO, Stock return, Jebao RW-4, Topless with an AI Prime for lighting, and controlled by an Apex jr.
As for live stock, I have a diamond watchman goby, Purple fire fish, 2 onyx percs, and a (new) cleaner shrimp. My corals are mostly Zoanthids with a few acans and other lps/sps.

Now, being that we moved to Knoxville due to my girlfriends job; She has offered to help me with upgrading to a new, bigger tank! BOOM! I wont say no to that. So I've been doing some tank shopping and planning for 75-90g tank. I was thinking about the Redsea reefer perhaps?! Who knows, its still a ways off for now...

Anyway, Thats all I have for now. Im looking forward to meeting more of the ETRC members down the road and Happy Reefing everyone!

-Mike

First off, welcome! You have come to the right place! Many quotations can be asked and all of them will be answered. Second off, looks like you have a sweet setup and off to amazing restart.
Thank you :)

Welcome to Knoxville! Great to have you here and look forward to meeting you. As a new reefer as well, this is an awesome group!
Good to hear!

Welcome aboard . I may suggest some gel filters to take the blue out of your pics. I use yellow on mine and some use orange . There is a pack on ebay for about 7 bucks . It has several colors to choose from to see the one that works best with your camera.

Welcome to the area. The only thing you have to watch out for is when it snows and these tenn drivers get out in it

Hey alright! I moved from waukesha wi in 1996. Tennessee is great. You'll love it here... it can be quite a culture shock at first but you'll get use to it. Glad to see your part of etrc!

Awesome! Great to see other cheese heads around, Go Packers! ;) Yes it was quite the culture shock and I will miss, Wisconsin. So far Tennessee has been Amazing and there is a ton of fun stuff to do! The girlfriend is looking forward to the mild winter weather compared to up nort.
