Just wanted to introduce myself, names rigo, from San Diego. I’ve always wanted a salt water aquarium because I saw a lion fish way back in the day when I went on a field trip to birch’s aquarium. I recently purchased a 100 gallon tank that I was going to turn into a freshwater tank with co2 so I can get some nice plants in there. When I arrived to pick up my tank I realized the previous owner had it set up as a salt water tank. Well long story short and a few hundreds of bucks later, im setting it all up and and can’t wait to finally get the one fish I always wanted. Any tips on how to navigate this site would be appropriated, I don’t want to post in the wrong section or anything like that. I’ll start asking for help when I get back home. Any help is greatly appreciated. This is basically where I’m at.

Love this ... great attitude!
I used to work in an environmental center with an aquarium exhibit. We had lion fish paired with a porcupine puffer and a yellow tang. It was fascinating. Those lion fish are just awe inspiring. Everybody in the tank got along and basically ignored each other. They were well fed, so I guess no snacking by the lion fish.
One tip... make sure you have good gloves that will prevent penetration from the spines. Getting stung makes for a really really bad day.
