I,m new.. Coming back to the hobby after being away for 25 years..I had a well stocked and equipped 180 reef. I see VERY much has changed since then..Before I jump in I thought I,d ask if any long term , successful reef aquariast would be willing to be a mentor..I hate relying on store owners and conflicting forum answers..
I,m in Akron ,Ohio and would like if I could find someone somewhat close..

Welcome to R2R. There is a lot of good advice you shall find here. The bad thing is you could still get conflicting advice. I’ve also been a believer in doing research. Search articles from revhtree on R2R. He has a basic tutorial as well. Myfirstfishtank.com has a lot of good advice. I would watch the bulk reef supply videos along with the marine depot videos also on the brs site. My best advice would be to start creating threads in the different forums here and start asking away. That’s what I did.
