Hello, everyone.
Another new member to Reef2reef.
My name is Marcus E. Mommer and I am a marine biologist and aquarist that resides in the Tampa Bay area. I currently run a bunch of tanks with the most important/recent being a 60 gallon mixed reef. Current tanks I have in progress is a 30 gallon rimless cube for Zoa garden (pictured) and a 670 Elasmobranch tank.
Pictures include the 60 Mixed reef (running for about 4 months) and the progress on the 30.

Depends on what study I am working on or any research someone has either hired me to do or assist with. My work as of late has not been near as interesting as others, but still enjoyable. I've been working on algae diversity, classification, and increased presence in the Florida reef system. Essentially observing the quantity and types of macroalgae on reef systems and bringing samples into the lab for identification purposes.
