Well...how do I set my profile apart from all the other new ones? hmm..I don't. HA!

Anyway, I'm not new to reefing, I had a couple tanks way back in the late 90's early 2000's. I took a hiatus when I got married in 2001, moved apartments and just couldn't have the tank in that new apartment. I've been back in it for a few years. After a 12 year hiatus, I have a 30 gallon frag tank currently that was dominated by sps...But over the summer (specifically August in TX) AC went out in the house and it was a good 36 hours before the unit was replaced....lost everything but fish, a turbo snail, and a peppermint shrimp. So it's sitting basically as FOWLR right now. It's been one challenge after another with this tank, I'm convinced it's cursed. HA! Things would go well for months at a time, then something would set me back to almost square 1, sometimes self induced, sometimes the reef gods were just not kind.

Planning out my next tank rather than trying to re stock the current one, though I may put a few corals in it while I wait for the new tank. I'm waiting on quotes from tank builders for a 120 while keeping an eye out for deals at LFS, looking to start that after the first of the year.

Anyway, hi!

Welcome to R2R , you picked a great place:)

Appreciate it everyone. Here's a couple pics I have of the current tank, though it does not look like this now because of the AC disaster. I don't have much in the way of a full tank view...for whatever reason.
