Hello everyone, I just joined so thought I would stop and introduce myself. I have been in the hobby for only a few months now, my buddy game me his 20g reef tank and since then I have been able to make it flourish. I decided to upgrade the the system completely.
85g rimless Tank
3 chamber sump
BRS GFO and carbon reactor
Vortex Omega 130
2x Kessil A360w
Kessil H80 refugium light
2x Hydor Koralia's
Sicce Syncra (951gph) return pump
Apex Classic
I also have a BRS 5 stage RO/DI system and I am currently curing 35# of pukani dry rock. I plan to use the existing 25# of rock from the old tank once the new display tank has cycled. The dry rock is in its last stage of curing and I should be able to get the new tank running this Tuesday or Wednesday.
I know this a pretty vague post but like I said, I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. Any pointers would be graciously accepted.
