Good evening all!
Excited to join. I have a 125 gallon reef tank. Just a big box to stuff with frags! Established tank that is starting to thrive... overfeeding has caused minor nitrate issues.

Need some tips on coral feeding...can't wait to learn from the group!

Welcome to R2R, Billet. You are in the right spot for great advice. Target feeding is usually a good way to go when feeding corals and it is not needed everyday. You will need to start out slow and check parameters to pinpoint a good cycle.

Alot of people have success using red seas reef energy, reef roids and BRS's reef chilli.

I personally use reef energy. I like it because its in solution and easy to dose with a syringe the only down side is it needs to be refrigerated.
The other two mentioned are rehydrated then added to the tank. You can also more easily target feed with the rehydrated particles.

Trying to train for feeding with lights on...some acans and others eat and some don't. Too much coral feeding led to my original nitrate issues...had to back off feeding the fish too!

Welcome aboard. I am in a similar state and just started to target feed the little guys in my tank. You are in the right place for sure. Great people and great information. I am using reef roids and reef chili with the skimz coral feeders. Works good so far. To early to claim massive growth but they respond to it and no one has refused to pay the check, lol.
