Welcome, @JFJ! Like the tank! You're already ahead of the game with your plan!

First to help with better pictures from your phone buy an Orphek lens kit! They reduce the blue light for better shots :)

I dig the aquascape! Have you considered adding a little more rock for more surface space? Just knowing "my collector habits" I run out of space quickly. It's always easier to add rock before you add livestock. I included a picture of our 100G Waterbox... thinking I might add more rock regretting that I added my corals from our nano tank too early.

Looking forward to your updates!

Just my thoughts.
Thanks for the advice above, I do realize that the fox-face and tangs will outgrow the tank, will get them small and exchange when they get bigger, I do have a desire in the back of my mind to build a 240 gallon fish only tank once I do have enough experience, and I am sure I am in the hobby for the long hall, then I will just migrate the fish over to the bigger tank when they outgrow the Reefer 350.

Welcome!! Looks good so far only thing I always try to do is make sure there are enough cases and hiding places for the fish I want. Keeps aggression down imo

It is difficult to see in the photo, but the structure on the left is not a solid piece of rock, it is almost a hollow structure with a labyrinth of tunnels and crannies inside, will try to post a better picture. I also changed the branchy scape on the right a little to present a more natural look.

I did start the cycling of the tank yesterday using the Red Sea reef mature kid to speed up the process a little, my Chromis is in the quarantine tank now for almost a month and will be ready for the display tank in about 3 weeks.

Welcome to r2r! Is that your Mooney in the profile pic? Man is that a pretty Plane
I had one almost exactly like that for many years but sold it a few years ago when time to fly become a scarce commodity and nothing more dangerous than not flying enough.
Here is a picture of the one I owned, unfortunately do not have a pic of it in the air.

Thanks for the Advice on the lens filters will try and locate some, and I love your scape, you can always just add a branch rock and you will be surprised the amount of space it creates.

You may not believe it but I do have about 55 pounds of rock in the scape. I like the almost minimalistic look and lots of negative space therefore do not want to add more rock now, I know I may regret it going forward, you can gather from my intended fish list that I also do not know when and where to stop and will surely run out of real estate.

I did try to create the maximum amount of real-estate keeping the minimalistic look, Look at the third photo taken from the top of the tank, it gives you an idea of the space created and some of the tunnels within the structure.

I also changed the aquascape on the right a bit to get a more natural look, not an easy task, had to dismantle it completely, it is also the reason the tank appears hazy in the pic's.

Wow that is a beautiful plane. i Am a flight student currently pursuing a career in commercial aviation like my father. He used to fly mooneys when he was in his teens like me. He’s been looking at some for sale locally. Currently I’m flying a piper archer tx. I’ll be soloing in a few weeks at 16 and have my private before the end of summer.
unfortunately a beautiful 1991 Mooney landed gear up at my local airport due to pilot error. That was probably one of the cleanest Mooney here in south Florida

You should enjoy flying while you can, I got my PPL just for recreational flying and when life happens and family life becomes too demanding then flying starts taking second place, also had a Seneca II, but you cannot beat a Mooney, it is the sports car of small planes, hope you find one. Enjoy your first solo/PPL and further ratings.

Welcome to R2R!! As for the the Scape it’s all a matter of personal preference the most important thing is that you like it because it’s your personal reef!! For me I studied other reefers Tanks and got some ideas and then created something into my own liking I encourage you to do the same. There are so many scape ideas out there find something you like and change some things if you want. I think I can speak for most reefers that we all tend to criticize our own tanks a bit . Tons of knowledge and builds on here enjoy and welcome!

Welcome to R2R, nice looking tank. I like those 100-gallon waterbox's

Thank you guys for the welcome and positive advice, I definitely did some research on other tank scapes before attempting my own, but what a rewarding experience with almost instant gratification. It is testing times to stay patient, just want to start adding fish and corals. I decided to adopt a very stringent quarantine methodology that will see my tank empty from fish and corals and inverts for a long time to come. I do have 5 Chromis in quarantine now for about a month so they should be the first entrants in a few weeks time.

Saw that the tank had a greenish tint this morning before the lights came on, guess the cycling uglies is wearing its head.

Look what I found just now in my QT tank, it wiggled its way out of a rock with a few mushrooms on that I bought over the weekend. Seems to be a red and white Brittle start fish
