Hi my name is Mike I’ve had a saltwater tank for 20 years now with an undergravel Filter system which I did not like and changed it over to a canister filter for my 55 gallon aquarium. This will be a fowler tank and will eventually add some anems
I have a couple of viper spectra lighting which should be fine for the anenome
Tank and has been up and running since May of this year slowly adding fish I have three dams is going to add two clowns at the same time next week and after six months will add the nems
Mike

Hi Mike and Welcome! Glad you joined. Sounds like you have a lot of experience already to share. Years (many years) ago I also had undergravel filtration and it could be a pain when clogged, but deep sand bed (jawfish) FOWLR I would still think its a good way to go (but I am using sump with planted refugium these days on reef tank).

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
