New millapora problems

So I just got a millapora at PETCO. At the store it looked alright it had good extension. I got it home and was about to put it in the tank and a Light bulb went off. Should i dip or not too dip. So i dipped the coral and now the coral looks like this. Around the bottom of the coral and in the middle there are blank spots. Do you all think there were worms or i burnt the coral when i dipped it?

Did anything come off when you dipped? Be very careful when buying coral (specially from petco) and not dipping them or quarantining them.

i used bear to dip it so the dip was white. Could not see anything.
