I currently have a 120G mixed reef in my living room and have been setting up a 125G in my kitchen. I would like to move everything from the one tank to the other but want to make sure it is safe. At any time I could take live rock, water etc from one tank and move it to the other but was wondering what the best practices were on moving things from one tank to another. I would imagine that just moving things will cause a stressful cycle for my fish (Tangs, clowns an anenome etc.) and I do not want them to go through that if possible. What are your suggestions?

I have three LED fixtures over this tank and would think that my corals will love it but am waiting until I figure out exactly what to do.

I did this myself and had no issues.

Thank you. I forgot to mention that the substrate will change from one tank to the next. So I am not sure that it might result in causing the tank to cycle.
