I got a monti cap about two weeks ago and it is a little bleached and i dont know why. That only this i can think is my calcium was low and alk wasnt stable. Also my salinity is a little low so would those cause bleaching. When just my blue lights go on there are polyps throughout the whole thing even in the bleach areas

Could just be a shock to a new system. I've gotten bleached stuff before and in time it started getting its color back. Just keep it to the side away from the light a little and keep your levels looking good and in time it should get back to normal. Another thing that can help is direct feeding with rotifiers and phyto.

When I got my WWC Mystic Sunset monti that trhing turned completely white. I left it in there since I hoped it might come back, not now flesh is on almost all of the skeleton. Giove it time and see if it will come back. If there are still polyps then there is a chance it might come back.

As long as there is just 1 polyp alive it should come back with excellent water quality. I've had corals before they looked completely dead, no skin, no polyps that I could see. I left it in place for the heck of it and it took about 2 months times but it necro'd back to a decent sized frag now.
