New Montipora not doing good

I got a new montipora 5 days ago but now it's no looking so good. It has small orange looking areas on it. Anyone know what it is ?

you should test your phosphates if you’re gonna keep sps
calcium?

I don't have a test for those yet but I'm getting one by next week or hopefully sooner.

No other way around not testing all of the majors if you want to keep SPS.

Without those numbers, diagnosing is impossible.

is it on the sand? It should be higher up in higher light and higher flow.

It's not on the sand and is getting medium flow.

Losing color for me usually is from no p04 or to much light to soon with monti caps

Alkalinity is typically measured in dKh. 160/17.9 = ~9dKh. That's probably OK.
