New mp10

I’m picking up a slightly used mp10qd and wondering how do I set it up? It doesn’t use mobius does it? Should I set it up like my radion g4 which I connected to my computer and programmed it? Also what mode and power is best for a Biocube 32 softie/LPS dominant?

Mobius is not active yet, you will need a Reeflink to control it but I would not waste your money with Mobius around the corner. Another option is using WXM if you have an apex. Did the seller tell you the build date to make sure it’s Mobius capable?

Don’t have an apex, I didn’t get the date exactly but know it’s within a year. So I can’t set it up with EcoSmart live even? I would have to do it manually?

And is reefcrest a good mode to put it on on like the lowest setting, or something like the lagoon mode that has a more calm flow? It’s a softie/LPS tank.

If you open the back of the controller and look at the chip in the upper left hand corner, if it’s green, it’ll need an upgrade, if it’s black, it will work with Mobius.

You don't need any controller, other than the one that comes with it, to run it.

Just turn it to reef Crest or lagoon at maybe 50%.

Manufacturing date is on the back of the black pump driver/control box. Pumps work fine programmed from the box. Reefcrest is a good place to start. Some MP10 came with a wireless card, some did not.
