New MP40 wetside noisy?

hello i bought 2 mp40wqd wet sides from BRS a couple days ago and when i put it on today i noticed its noticeably louder then the old ones that i have.i also noticed that movong the blade is slightly "harder" to move then the old ones. Is this normal for new wet sides? Here is a comparison of both. The old one is the one covered in coralline.

Remember to play with the alignment of the new wet side. Also the inside glass should be clean. And there will be a bit of noise until it breaks in.
