Are the new 'mobius ready' MP40QD pumps compatible with the Apex WXM?
I use the Apex for everything, and do not want to use another app to control the MP40s.
Was planning on getting the MP40s, but if they are not compatible with the WXM, will look for other options.

Yes, you'll need to put the WXM compatible firmware on it.

I think I read that the new ones that are branded "Mobius Ready" won't, but older ones that need a firmware upgrade to be "Mobius Ready will still work as you can downgrade the firmware,

Thank you! I have not purchased the MP40QD pumps yet, so eventually when I do get them they will be the new Mobius enabled ones. It's a good thing they have this option to downgrade them to ESL, or I would have taken my business elsewhere. Which I'd rather not do since I'm both an EcoTech fan, and an Apex fan.

On the flip side, It would be nice if the Apex WXM were able to control my Vectra M2's some day.
I guess I just want a perfect world, and be able to control everything with just the Apex Fusion app :)

I have the new mp40 with mobius pre installed. Been going on a week trying to get it to work with my apex. Downgraded the software would not connect to wxm. Ecotech gave my mobius account Legacy devices and still won't work. I could of just gotten a bad driver.

How do I got in on the beta or adding my mp40s?

I read that you can’t even see your pumps on Mobius unless you’re at home near your tank? I.e. Wifi only? What a deal breaker if that’s true! I am away a lot, and this is another reason to stick with Apex Fusion and WXM. Any thoughts on this?

The firmware downgrade failed on mine and it wouldn't connect to mobius or the wxm. They sent me a replacement that I had to install. It would still work using the hardware controller while I waited for the replacements to be sent. Super annoying and wish they had taken a different approach to the Mobius rollout that gave native backwards compatibility without having to downgrade, because it doesn't always work.

I was kind of on the edge between moving to Mobius vs staying with Apex WXM. But Mobius seems so archaic if I can’t see my pumps away from home. Ecotech being a top of the line company, I’m quite surprised they are pushing out something so obviously lacking. I’ll stay with WXM so that I have more control over my pumps. Maybe Ecotech will figure it out someday.
