I bought this at my LFS in Jacksonville. I thought it was a Ricordea Florida when I bought it but it just doesn't look like the pictures of many I've seen. Any positive ID's out there?

I asked the owner of my LFS where I bought it (there were others from the same colony still there). It's a Rhodactis. It's obvious now that I look through pictures of other Rhodactis. For those that were saying Ricordea Yuma, I apologize for the terrible picture. I should have let it open up more before posting. Thanks!!

This is a Ricordea Yuma that looks like the picture you sent. I could be mistaken but so could the LFS. Wouldn't be the first time.

Yeah I totally think its a rhodactis too.

Not bubbly enough for yuma. Also yuma has bubble tentacles around mouth

@RareEarthCorals

that's a Ricordea Yuma lol

Here check out this video if you want to learn difference between Ricordea Yuma and Ricordea Florida.

This a Rhodactis, its mine. It has what looks like claws along the edge and the body is smoother not as bubbly

Mine has those little claws for sure. The picture was just before it had properly opened. I'll shoot another one and post it.

Maybe if a Ricordea Yuma and a Rhodactis had a baby. Its a bad photo too, so we will just call it a mushroom, but its also an anemone too!
