The NUVO10 is finally in its permanent home it had been sitting on our bench in the kitchen since I started it. Wires all over the place and my ATO reservoir out in the open. This looks sooooo much cleaner and fits great. Water still a little cloudy from the move, as I'm sure the fish's brains are...

So temporarily I have the pump and RODI water in a 1 gallon jug. The sensor is plugged into the pump, and as soon as the water gets below this little sensor, it kicks the pump on. Very very simple.

Which light? The little blue light in the back is just from the ATO. I got my main light for the tank from SBReefLights. Their PAR38

I think my pistol shrimp finally found my YWG's house. I keep seeing little puffs of sand come out. YWG is in cave in other area of tank. Is this normal? Will YWG come back to make friends?

Posted in other thread. Think he may be toast I went on vacation to the Dominican Republic, and since I've gotten back he's MIA. No nitrate or ammonia spikes, but I could always find him before, and I haven't seen him since I got back on Saturday. My first fish lost in almost a year in the hobby and I feel so bad

No worries. I know I did all that I could. Just wish I didn't get the little guy under LFS's guidance without doing thorough research.

Clownfish minimally need 30 gallons... Gobys usually need even more. No way I'll cram them in a 10 gallon.

Same tank as you have with 2 clownfish happy as can be

It's best to buy the shrimp and goby already paired since they don't always pair up and sometimes the shrimp will actually kill the goby. my 10 year old has had a pair for the last year and they're is favorite even though they rearranged his whole tank

Well I'll hope in the next few days they meet up and start hanging out. The YWG has been a skittish guy since I got him a couple weeks ago. Hopefully he chills out, and maybe it'll be due to having a new friend.

My sons ywg is still skittish after a year and my buddy had him for a year b4 I got him the shrimp is cool though it'll climb up my arm

My pistol shrimp at work. First time really being able to catch him out and about. Been in the tank for 5 days. Is it best to throw small broke up pieces of shell in there for him to decorate with? He's tinyyyyyy
