Hey Y’all! I’m so excited to get started as a reefer. I’ve been watching tons of YouTube videos, talking to the workers at the local fish store, and researching the internet. I bought my first tank yesterday (37 gallon, cube). It’s set up with live sand, live rock and 2 Chromis. Now we wait until it’s ready to start adding more fish and corals.

Welcome to the group. Can’t wait to see some pics

Just two things to remember, which will make more sense as your journey evolves. Learn to Hurry up and wait, and slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Think of Reef keeping like the movements of Tia Che, slow and smooth, changing one thing at a time and waiting, before changing something else. Again welcome.

Thanks for the advice! I had to tell my 9 year old son that we need to have lots of patience as reefers. Still lots of research before making decisions about corals....when the time comes.
