New NC Reefer

Hey Y’all! I’m so excited to get started as a reefer. I’ve been watching tons of YouTube videos, talking to the workers at the local fish store, and researching the internet. I bought my first tank yesterday (37 gallon, cube). It’s set up with live sand, live rock and 2 Chromis. Now we wait until it’s ready to start adding more fish and corals.

Think of Reef keeping like the movements of Tia Che, slow and smooth, changing one thing at a time and waiting, before changing something else. Again welcome.

Thanks for the advice! I had to tell my 9 year old son that we need to have lots of patience as reefers. Still lots of research before making decisions about corals....when the time comes.
