Hey guys,
Got a new nem yesterday. put it in a Pvc in the sand after acclimation. It wasn’t happy I guess and moved overnight. Now it seems to be stuck backwards in a cave, unattached to anything, and I think it has some damage to its foot but it’s hard to tell. Should I leave it be or dig it out/ move it?

Agreed. I have kept nems for a long time. Just recently I had one sink into a rock in the shadows for probably a good month after adding it. He still came out for light daily but after a few hours he would sink back in. Yesterday he moved to a spot in full sun.
Also had one that I thought was 100% dying, but decided to give it a few days. After a few days he was totally fine. Just being temperamental lol

They are super weird. When he's ready he'll move where he wants, (probably the place you don't want him to be) and settle down
