New nps coral. What do you think ?

I bought this one today. 24 headed sun coral. I feed it with live plankton throughout the day.

It is not getting light throughout the day.

Is it bad and dying? I bought it today.

I have no idea, honestly. Doesn't look bad to me, and I'm in no position to judge condition. Considering the situation, I'd say it's doing okay.

I lost my hope. It doesn't open polyps and feed on plankton. I really think it is dying.

That's a sun coral species. If you search R2R you'll find lots of good advice. But basically the polyps should extend at night and if they do you should feed them. To get them to extend during the day you have to basically take the coral out of the tank, place it in a container, add some food (mysis, LRS, etc.) or even just the water after defrosting the food and "train" the coral to open up during the day when you normally feed it. But it needs to food, I have a black sun coral and it can eat quite a lot. I hope that helps.

It's never showed it's polyps throughout the night. That's why I have been afraid of losing it.
