Hi, three days ago I just bought some ocellaris clowns and the appear to be healthy, they are in a 40 gallon breeder with a hammer, frogspawn coral and some zoas and star polyps. The corals are doing very well, they are growing faster than I have anticipated the tank water params are all good but the the clowns are not eating, they see food drift by and are interested but so far have turned down pellets, flakes, mysis, brine shrimp and bloodworms. the owner of the store said they were captive bred so they should be eating fine on almost anything.
Is there anything I should do? I am getting annoyed as I don't want to keep dumping food in my tank or more importantly lose my fish which I suspect may happen.
Thanks

Clowns can go quite awhile initially without eating, this is not unusual during acclimation. Try to feed them what they were eating at the store. Mine always like Cyclopeeze quite a lot. Do not comprise water quality by attempting to get them to eat. A healthy clown will eat eventually.
