I recently got an octospawn, about two days ago, I’m worried I shocked it from the acclimation process and woke up and noticed very little receding occurring it’s only been a bit but I’m not sure what to do, waterchanges? Move it to somewhere else in the tank? Or if it’s still adjusting? Not sure

And for reference this is how it looked before

Octos are pretty hardy. Just give it time. As above, lighting, flow, parameters?

Using a nero 3 but turned it off as I had seen some of the flesh be aggregated due to the high flow but it’s currently in a gentle flow area. As for parameters I tested yestarday with my alk(8.4) cal(410) and mag(1230) but I raised the dosage and planning a water change today

what size tank? I’m using 2 Nero 3s , Tunze 6040 in a 60 shallow style reef AIO. Lights will definitely depend on tank size and even brand. I keep my Reebreeder Photon 2 at 50 for peak myself. But i run an lps dominated mixed reef.

Trying to run a mixed reef, I added a acro same time as I did the octospawn and seems to be doing fine, I have a redsea max nano (20gal) and copied a light plan that runs 100, it’s been doing well for the softies and Montipora I have with it

Also I’m noticing it might be damaged but not sure if iodine dipping would stress it out more

If it’s not showing signs of infection and damage looks clean I’d leave it alone.
