My name is Chris and I am from North Carolina. About 16 years ago I adopted a 55 gallon salt water tank (FOWLR) from a friend and fell in love with the hobby. It was already set up and all I had to do was move it. I only had it a few months when my first son was born and we were forced to move in with my parents and I had to get rid of the aquarium. I have had a missing spot in my heart for all of these years.

My wife has been wonderful enough to allow me to get back into the hobby and I am currently looking to buy another tank. I have found a used on in a pet shop and hope to purchase it in the coming week. It's a 120 gallon so it will be a huge upgrade. It has all the stuff to go with it including lights, sumps and etc. So I'm hoping to have a build thread soon and hoping to have that hole in my heart full again!

So much has changed in the 16 years that I have been out of the hobby so I'm looking forward to learning and experiencing all that I can.

If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Welcome to R2R. Sounds like the 120 is going to start off good.

Welcome to R2R!! Although there have been several changes from the undergravel filter & VHO days, you've come to the right place!
