old tank ,brand new start.all the dead rock was from the old set up and was in cold storage for two years .It's slowly coming back with a little seed rock in the in tank sump/filter.two months old now
 
Thanks ,all bad algae is gone, coraline starting to take hold and my fish guy just got a brand new batch of zoos.The perfect storm to empty a wallet:bigsmile:

still not sure what last picture is but its not lps (plate coral) some form of anemone or paly

I've restarted this tank in my showroom at work as an experiment to see what I can achieve with the bare minimum of processes eg. no sump, 4x54watt T5,airstone DIY skimmer,live rock rubble and carbon,and bi-weekly 20%water changes and thats it.so far so good
