Hi, bought a used 30 gallon tank a few weeks ago. It was already up and running when we got it. At the time we had to do a top up of water. A couple of days ago, we did our first water change. We changed almost 1/4 of the water. We tested the water. PH is 7.5, NO2 is 0.3, NO3 is 5 NH3 is 0.3, PPT is 30. All our fish have died. Now I'm worried about the live rock. What should I do now?

Welcome to R2R! How did you love the tank? Empty it out and put it back I or drain and carry with everything in? It sounds like your ammonia spiked as you're registering nh3

Check out this thread..

and this one..

WELCOME!!! Your Ammonia is up there and that will kill the fish. Your pH is low and your salinity is low. Get all your parameters in line before you add any critters.

Welcome to R2R!!! Sorry for you loss. If sounds like it went thru a mini cycling with the tank having to be moved. Since their is no fish in the tank I would start to test tank and let the tank finish cycling again. You can also add some Biospera to the tank to help cycle the tank quickly.
